Rules:
- Contest starts at 12 noon. No shoveling or digging in advance or you may be disqualified.
- Sculpting ends at 5:00 pm
- No sculpting is allowed after that time or you may be disqualified.
- You must provide your own, tools, Buckets, supplies, forms, food, beverages, shade and sun screen
- Sculptures should be carved in the round. Forms are allowed, but all forms must be removed by the end of the sculpting time.
- No artificial coloring, machinery or decorations allowed.
- Un-sportsman like behavior will not be tolerated. Any violators will be disqualified and asked to leave the event.
- Judging begins at 5:00 p.m.
- The decisions of the judges are final.
Judging:
Sculptures will be judged using the following criteria:
- Originality and imagination
- Degree of difficulty
- Artistic Merit
Winners will be announced following judging, on the Main Stage |
