Jim Richardson - Palm Bay, Florida

Jim will create sand sculptures for sponsors of the Art of Sand  Festival.  A  long time resident of Brevard County, Jim has lived in Palm Bay for over 40 years. In 1981 Jim won the grand prize in the sand sculpture competition in Paradise Beach.

Years later, an admirer of his sculpture on Paradise Beach invited him to a special event at Disney to sculpt.  Before lone, Jim had combined his career at the Brevard County Health Dept. with his work as a sand sculptor.  Spectators react to his creations with delight.  His work always tells a story; look for the little details hidden in his sculptures.
